One of the most important reasons for making a will is to show how you care for others - your family, your friends and your community. Often when thinking about making a will it is reassuring to know that by supporting a community organisation you can make a real difference to the lives of others.
A way of doing this is to leave a bequest to SCIC - Sydney Cochlear Implant Centre, where your gift will help deaf people to hear. By nominating SCIC in your will for whatever sum or proportion of your estate you wish to give, you will be providing someone with a life long legacy.

Whatever your connection to SCIC, whether as a recipient of an implant, a family member of a recipient or a caring member of the community, you can understand how vital our work is.
SCIC continues to grow as each year an additional 200 new recipients join the programme. In order to be able to meet the demand for life-long services that recipients require, SCIC needs to be able to plan ahead. This can only happen if we know we have the support of the community.
